He wasn’t apologizing for being honest, he was apologizing for being wrong. What Brees did was regurgitate Trump’s talking points which mischaracterized Kaepernick’s kneeling during the national anthem as a protest against the anthem when it was actually about police brutality and social injustice.

Drew’s statement wasn’t just tone deaf, it was a distortion and a distraction from extremely important issues. And the ONLY reason he is apologizing is because he was being roasted on social media, by teammates, other players, and fans.
 
If it's *actually* safe I think it's a great idea to bring sports back. It's just hard to prove until we do it, especially when the whole league will shut down if a single player tests positive.

Yeah I got another email from The Rams today, inviting me on a virtual tour of the new stadium to "pick out my seats".

They're dreaming...
 
So Miami won't allow large gatherings for the foreseeable future, which puts a damper on the NFL having fans in the seats during the season.
