NFL 2019 Season

The question becomes: is the allure of coaching the Cowboys still enough to bring in someone who is willing to put up with Jerry? Its like the Yankees or Red Sox in baseball or the Lakers or Knicks in basketball. Will someone be willing to put up with him in order to be the one to restore "America's Team" to glory?

On the other hand, will anyone want to come to Washington and put up with Snyder and a pretty empty roster? Or the Giants, who outside of Barkley and Jones have nothing else promising going on?

Putting up with several owners is an issue, true. But if the rumors are true, and Jerry really likes to call the shots, it's a whole other level.

Great. Trading one mid-season-firing coach for another. This has Snyder written all over it. Fucking idiot.

IDK, Rivera might be the best of the retreads at this point.

Chan Gailey is out of retirement as the Dolphins new OC. He's coached Fitz a couple other places.
That excites me. I want the 'Fins to spend their picks on fundamentals, rebuilding the lines (O and D), rebuilding the linebacking corps, get a decent running back. Then let Fitz mentor Josh Rosen, or a late rounders (I still love, love, love, love Jalen Hurts and hope the 'Fins snag him late in the first round) for the next season, and next year if Rosen or the late rounder have blossomed, keep building. Or..go searching for a franchise QB in the 2021 draft.

Looks like the Browns will continue to be a dumpster fire.
Someone has to. :). The Dolphins have redeemed themselves in the clutch against the Pats, so they would be out of the running for that dubious honor this year. And Cincinnati? They have some nice top-shelf picks coming up next year in the draft, so their future is potentially bright - with my Skins right behind them, of course, but I don’t trust their front office to tie their own fucking shoes at this point, much less make second round worth a toss.

So I'm taking the Bills, Titans, Saints and and Seahawks for the wild card weekend. Being a Texans fan, I know better than to take the Texans in a playoff game. LOL

Anyone seen the new Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders in Vegas? That thing looks positively badass.

Is that an accurate portrayal of where it's located? It looks like it's on the strip across the street from Mandalay Bay? That can't be right.

My wife and I are actually staying at Mandalay Bay in March. I'll have to check it out.

The front page looks like a CG representation. There’s a “live feed” link at the top that shows vids and several live cameras that will likely give you a better idea as to its location. I haven’t been there in many years, so I’m not exactly sure exactly where it’s supposed to be.

It is apparently quite a sight to behold. It’s being called the “Death Star” due to its futuristic look. Everything may be big in Texas, but everything is YUGE in Vegas.

Okay, well it is exactly across the street from Mandalay Bay!

I will definitely check it out when we're there in March.

It will be interesting to see how this goes. I think a lot of visiting fans will be in the stadium each Sunday. Perfect road trip: "Let's go see our team play in Vegas!"

And if you can walk there from the strip, so much the better.

I'm also looking forward to a game or two next year at SoFi (AKA Stan's Canyon)

Well, not across the strip like you were thinking, but the opposite direction. I was in LV once, 33 years ago, I forgot the expressway ran straight thru like that.

No doubt there will be bridges and/or tunnels allowing foot traffic from the strip. It would be crazy not to. DO they have subways? (outside of the Musk thing, maybe that's what they'll be using)

They have a monorail that runs up and down the strip.

Yeah it is. It's on the other side of the 15, the freeway seperating places like The Rio to the Strip. I've been watching it go up each year in August for the last couple of years.
