To be fair, I'd probably do the same thing if Trubisky was my QB.
Sure, Trubisky made some bonehead plays, but he was doing well on that drive. One or two short sideline passes would've given them a better shot at the FG.
Nagy's game and clock management sucks.
Trubisky trying to throw longer than eight yards sucks.
But he can. Mind you, he doesn't have much touch on those longer throws, so he overthrows the receivers at times.
Seems like Raiders are not quite there yet, hard to tell because of the ridiculous schedule they were saddled with. We would almost certainly be 4-3 with a normal schedule. But, Texans played a nice game and outlasted us in the end.
But they appear to be on schedule in developing into a playoff team. They are building from the front to the back, solidifying both the offensive and defensive lines which allows us to run the ball and pass protect on O, and stop the run and pressure the passer on D.
Still got half the season and with a few breaks we could still make the playoffs, but next year we should be nice.
