The NFL just said buyer beware to clubs concerning Brown and the exempt list...

Yeah, AB's done for this season and at his age and level of idiocy, maybe forevermore.

I can't help but laugh at the guy. I do think he showed his ass the way he did in Oakland partly because, at the least he didn't care if the Raiders cut him, and at most, a calculated plan to push his way out (even though the Raiders remained in control). But the funny part is, I think he fully intended to behave himself in New England and buckle down and play ball.

He probably didn't think that events he had already set into motion would destroy his intention to finally be a good boy. That is karma taking a circuitous route and coming at you from the blind side.
 
Anyone that rolls the dice on Brown at this point, should be doing it on a one-year, minimum salary deal.

Thing is, he wasn't being a good boy if reports are accurate. He was harassing his accusers via text after both the NFL and Patriots told him not to have contact with them.

Brown’s accuser claims she received threatening text messages from the wide receiver on Wednesday, as Robert Klemko of The MMQB writes. In turn, her lawyer notified the NFL of the matter on Thursday night and included screenshots of the text in his letter to the league office.

Brown, she says, texted her and three other people to encourage the other parties to dig into the woman’s past. In response, the accuser’s lawyer petitioned the NFL to take action against Brown for “intimidating and threatening” her client in what she views as a “violation of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.”

Antonio Brown apparently “retired” via a tweet this morning. Said he wasn’t going to play in the NFL going forward. Also complained about his guarantees being voided.

I’m interested in seeing how Josh Rosen’s first start for Miami goes. No offensive line and little in the way of skill position players. What could go wrong? :lol:
 
At least the Dolphins will have a bunk mate in the AFC East basement for another week. :lol:

The Texans have just played three games in a row where the game was decided in the last few seconds. I'm actually surprised we've won two of those games. We get Carolina at home next week.

The Bucs should be nice and demoralized after that debacle at home. I'm actually going to that game Sunday.

My Beloved Rams do not look good on offense. Goff is missing wide open guys. There's no screen game at all. Luckily our defense bailed us out last night.
