Jon Gruden says great pass rushers are hard to find.

I don't think Gruden understands what is meant by a transaction having a "tail". He can't credibly talk about his pass rush (or even his defense, in general), until the Raiders develop a monster pass rush.

The Raider's defense was pathetic last season, so the gut punch of trading away the defense's best player (and best player on the team), and then lamenting the lack of a pass rush, I'm sure, has his team as well as the rest of the league looking at Gruden like he's crazy.

If this move of his doesn't work out, he will likely never be able to shake the mantle of league laughing stock.

Chicago bearly squeaks by Arizona. The offense is still mostly inept, they couldn't even manage a first down with a minute to go to seal the win. Give most other teams the ball back with a minute while you have a 2 point lead and you're gonna lose.
