Seahawks nearly get beat at home by the Dolphins...the Dolphins! Thankfully despite a probable ankle injury Russell Wilson was able to pull off some last minute magic and the defense did its job and a last minute touchdown was enough to win. 12-10! My heart was racing!

Well, I'll be. It WAS the year for the Lions to win. Well, what are you supposed to do if you allow 39 points? Can't ask much more of Luck and the offense than scoring as much as they did.

Raiders steal one in New Orleans! Great gutsy come from behind win on the road, the kind that we haven't been able to get in many years. Great way to start the season.

That was a great game.

Del Rio certainly has a giant pair, going for two like that at the end.

Nice win. Congrats.

Hey now. The Dolphins played like champs, and beat the 'Hawks punch for punch (almost), even managing to black an XP at the end of the game. They showed a lot of heart playing a team that was projected to beat the snot out of them.

Pretty happy with the Pats' play on this one, pulled out a win that most people were ready to chalk down as a loss. People were hopeful of 2-2, maybe 3-1 best case while Brady is out, but after having Gronk AND the entire o-line stay home, the game that was assumed to be one of the losses looked even worse.

Jimmy G played great (not too many rookie moments), handled the regular offense pretty well. Didn't look much different than a regular game for us. Here's hoping he can keep it going and hand over the reigns to Brady with the team in good position. And then maybe get a haul of draft picks for him at the end of the year :)

I was convinced it would be a typical Lions game once they blew a huge lead to allow a tie game.

Congrats on your franchise L.A. they're looking tough.
Getting trounced by the 49ers made it feel like the 90s all over again. Which coincidentally is still the last time the Los Angeles Rams have scored a point in regulation play (December 24, 1994 in their final game in LA, losing to the Redskins) TRADITION! Tradition!

I honestly never thought I would hear "Blaine Gabbert - starting quarterback" in a sentence after his debacle in Jacksonville.

They should have fired him on the airport tarmac a la Lane Kiffin.

I don't even know why he's still coach in the first place. He hasn't had a winning season since '08 in Tennessee, he's only had 6 winning seasons in his entire career, he's never won a Super Bowl as coach and his last playoff win was in '03. On top of that I read an article that said he is 9 losses away from being the losingest NFL coach of all time. So at least folks in L.A. can possibly look forward to seeing that record broken. Is there something about this guy that I'm missing? I admit that Tennessee and St. Louis were two teams I didn't keep up with a whole lot so maybe there's something I don't know about Jeff.

No games tonight so I'm watching The Best Of Times. Reno Hightower is probably the greatest quarterback/van specialist of all time. And Jack Dundee is pretty damn fast for a Caucasian.

Well, one good thing for the Rams, they very likely won't have to trade to get the number 1 draft position next year.
