Tony Romo has a broken bone in his back, but Jason Garrett doesn't think it will cost him the entire season. Is Garrett the Dusty Baker of the NFL?
I hope the Cowboys drafted or traded for a decent back-up QB. Romo needs "Fragile-Handle With Care" stamped on him.

Cowboys were an above average team that just became a mediocre team.
My team is the 49ers and I'm hoping for at least 6 wins. It's going to be a long year. 
Romo's easily a top-tier quarterback but he seriously needs to hang up the cleats before he winds up in a wheelchair.
Amen. He's going to be immobile by the time he turns 50 anyway, all those injuries will take a huge toll on his body. He need to walk away while he still can walk.

So far this preseason, the Raiders have not lived up to the off season hype. But that's part of the problem with off season hype, it sometimes gets expectations up to high too quickly. They're 1-2 and looked good in game one in Arizona, but have fizzled in the last 2 (one of which was at home). But, it's still preseason and we have a lot of new guys so still hoping for a real playoff run.
My Number One at work is a Niners fan, and she and I went around and around on this today.
Don't want to get into TNZ territory here, so I'll leave it at that.
Yeah, I don't think the 49ers needed this. More unnecessary distractions for a team that has been full of them for the last few years.

Realistically, there is only a handful of teams that are ran properly and have any chance of making the playoffs.

Because it takes more than money, it takes a good coach, a good system, a great organization, the right chemistry, limited injuries, a great QB, a great defense, etc. There are so many elements that have to come together at the right time. Some teams have a lot of those elements, and they can place themselves in a good position to win it all year after year. Others... well they just don't have many or any of those elements, and thus struggle every year.
