Yes, but typically not thought of as morons because of their race, unless...Coaches are geniuses when they win and morons when they don't.
So, you thought he was unqualified and incompetent because of his race back then too?I've seen the "Tomlin problems" for years now. Lack of discipline... penalties out the ass... turnovers, mismanaging the clock at the end of halves and games... and now, the inability of the Offense to adjust and score in the second half. Not sure why they brought him in. He was a defense guy and he can't hold a candle to Lebeau so exactly what does he bring to the table? I think ownership was being two politically correct. There were two coaches inhouse that should have been selected before hiring Tomlin. He's all sound-bite and no bark.
He was given a Cadillac and now it's a Ford Pinto.
When Tomlin was winning it was all about what a great coach he was, now that he is losing, it is all about race.Well, he's just not a very good coach.

I hope you aren't insinuating something.
Yeah, I'm insinuating something.
Then you're a dumb ass.
Anyone that knows anything about the Steelers knows it wasn't all about Tomlin when they were winning.
Tomlin fits the bill - a young DC who shot up the ranks, but he is no Cowher. Still, the problems are broader and deeper than Tomlin. They've had a number of players get old at the same time and they've simply not replaced them with equivalents. It's hard to do when you win two Super Bowls.
The Raiders used to be an AFC power. To see what has happened to them in recent years is a little bit sad.

They've been a mess from the top down for a long time, the antithesis of the NYG and Pittsburgh, really.

NYG and Pittsburgh? Not really.
Two teams on the slide.
When a team loses cohesion that badly, they are in real trouble. There are multiple reports that the Bears' locker room was full of fights, to the point that players were being pulled out of the room by others, following today's loss.
Starting to think Trestman's seat might be heating up.

Possibly. I just meant that the ownership has been stable where it has not been with the Raiders.
