Next year, better, the same, or worse movies?

This year has been huge for movies with the summer blockbusters being kicked off early with the release Iron Man in early May. Almost every Friday has had a big movie come out after Iron Man or at least one that has grossed a lot of money for a second week. This has been just a fantastic year for movies after last year, which was uneven.

Spider Man 3, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers, Harry Potter, Live Free or Die Hard, Shrek 3, Ratatouille, Ocean 13 were great but many of them (Spider Man 3, Pirates) were very uneven. The distribution was uneven as well. I can see why but man...

After July, the movies dropped. At least we still have a few big ones in August with Pineapple Express, Star Wars, Tropic Thunder. Now these aren't going to be HUGE but better than Daddy Day Camp, Rush Hour 3 and uh...Balls of Fury? Even Stardust was a bit niche as well.

Felt this year was a bit more even than last year with the movies and a lot better grossing, though Spider-Man 3 did fairly well for a bit, even though it was a horrible movie.

So what about next year? Is it going to be another big year for Hollywood?
