I want a Klingon antagonist, and I want him to be played by Samuel L. Jackson.

Of course, Tarantino would have to direct. And Christopher Walken has to be Cyrano Jones.

I say bring on the Borg. Bad Roborg has been discussed here before. And it would really only take one line to turn "Regeneration" Borg bits into The Vengeance muffler.

The war with the Klingons doesn't go well and certain persons of influence decide to once again pluck from the forbidden loot. Things go awry and suddenly they discover the steel skirt is comin' around the mountain when she comes. Time to wake Cumby.

According to Orci, Paramount wants a new movie in 2016. 50th anniversary and everything.

Which should be interesting since in 2016, Abrams will still be procastinating with Star Wars...

I would LOVE to see the borg, and in a way we already got a glimpse of JJ's take on the borg.
In the scene where Scotty goes to Jupiter to the hanger thing that the Vengence is inside. That Hanger looks very much like what I consider perfect borg style. Instead of green or yellow highlights they went with blue. Next time you watch that scene just imagine that Scotty is discovering a small borg cube and tell me it doesnt work perfectly...

blah, blah, rubbish, blah, blah... The Gorn or Tholians would be better classic TOS villains to flesh out with modern special FX technology.

Since, McCoy has been birthin' baby Gorns, I doubt we'll see a war with them any time soon... unless they are suing about birth defects.

I was left with the distinct impression that the next film would be about a war with the Klingons. Maybe they can kill Carol, in a neat twist on killing David.

I would hope the 3rd Trek movie will be about the crew towards the tail end of their 5 year mission, perhaps they face the reality of coming back home and surrendering the Enterprise to new crew as Starfleet has had a change in direction away from outright exploration.

3) Kirk and Carol in a relationship
4) Maybe the Mirror Universe.
