News Next Arrowverse Crossover to Include Batwoman

Hmmm, could we be visiting the Kent farm.
Ohh that would be a cool story
I'm not sure if you're serious here, but just in case you are, there actually is a Elseworlds story, Speeding Bullets, where Kal-El is raised by the Waynes, and after they are murdered, becomes Batman.

It would be cool, but I have to wonder if The CW is really going to want to add two more DC/Arrowverse shows to their line up.

I wonder if Lois wearing purple is a nod to her Superman: The Animated Series incarnation (who tended to wear purple and also had violet eyes).

She's had violet eyes in the comics for quite a while, up until the recent Man of Steel mini-series.

Somebody SAAAVE MEEEEEEE!!!!!

There's a rumor we could be getting a Superman TV series aswell

https://fandomwire.com/2018/10/17/exclusive-wb-developing-superman-tv-series/

With Superman's future in the movies in question TV seems to be a good place for Superman right now
And if they actually are considering this, here's what they could do: make it the Arrow-verse version, but don't put it in The CW. Make it a 10-episode season and put it on the DC Universe service. Still have the character appear on the crossover events, but not the series (maybe a side-story tying into the narrative without being necessary to have seen). Then, run those ads during the crossover event. Wanna see Superman in his own adventures? Subscribe now to the DC Universe streaming service and watch Superman in Action!

Not surprised, like I said before, I just couldn't see them doing too two more Arrowverse shows. I was already pretty shocked when they started talking about Batwoman, since I thought the head of The CW said they weren't doing any more DC shows until one of the current ones ended.

Well, Batwoman wouldn't debut until next season, and some people suspect that Arrow could be in its final season. It would make sense to swap one out for the other, since they're both in a similar vein.

That would make sense.
If they wanted to do something full time with Superman, I'd rather just seem him, Lois, and Lex incorporated into Supergirl as regulars.

That could get a bit cluttered. Recurring guests would be enough for me.

Both Legends and Black Lightning have fewer episodes than the other three, so CW could work out a schedule where they have more than 5 superhero shows without all of them airing at the same time.

I doubt Arrow will be over this season, Stephen Amell has a contract for another one, and even if they do decide to can it, I could see 'em giving it a shorter final season as a victory lap at the very least.

I wonder if they would be willing to just move him over to one of the other shows? I read in another thread that that was why they moved Amanda Tapping over the Stargate: Atlantis. she had time left on her contract after SG-1 ended, so they moved her over the SG:A to finish it up.

They could also show one during the summer.

Hard to see Ollie fitting in as a regular on one of the other shows. Well, maybe on Legends, which has several other non-powered characters, but it'd be quite a change in storytelling tone.

On the other hand, Felicity would be a pretty natural fit for Team Flash.

Until the Monitor and "Elseworlds" reveals, it sure looked as though the crossover and Batwoman would take place on Earth-38, given the inclusion of Superman and Lois in the story. I still think that's quite possible. I don't believe they'll go the "imaginary story" route; I suspect the title and the inclusion of the Monitor will mean something else. We just don't know what yet.
With the Monitor...could they possibly be plantng more seeds for a Crisis on Infinite Earths?

You know, this might be an alternate-reality thing in keeping with the whole "Elseworlds" angle, but I kinda hope it's actually like one of those goofy Silver Age plots where Superman and Batman impersonate each other to confound the villain. Like, the villain ignores "Green Arrow" because he has no powers, but surprise, he's a speedster!

It would make sense to end Arrow at this point, with the character making guest appearances in other shows. In another thread there was speculation as to where DC will take its film universe and Green Arrow is definitely a prime character for a blockbuster film.
