short but sweet interview with Quinto at IESB ...
Awesome. I'm happy to hear that he plans to sit down and extensively research the role, and is willing to acknowledge he had at least on misconception about Star Trek (i.e. that Vulcans don't have emotions).sido said:

Actually, I'm just hoping that Quinto speaks with a slightly lower tone to his voice. He LOOKS good, but his voice is actually rather high. That's what I kept thinking all the way through the interview... sort of like Spock with helium...![]()

be really interested in seeing how he plays it. Spock is half human so he should not be devoid of emotion. in fact he shows emotion several times in TOS, he just tries to cover it up or hide it. My favorite was that episode, I think Amok Time, where he thinks he killed Kirk, then back on the ship, Kirk strolls in and he gets this gigantic excited grin on his face "JIMM!!!!" then tries to cover it upHe's just... more reserved with it.
anyway, Temis, ITA about the raging vulcan emotions. just what else was Amok Time all about?
