I'd really, really love for him to return somehow in a new series ep. And no changes need to be made... he could be exactly the same as he was back then. It'd be awesome.
These are just the prototype bases, so the celery could still be included as a pin-on piece of plastic, or something else like that. I'm just glad it's not painted on there. It kind of looks neat, too.
Man, I can't believe you're complaining about the release of such awesome classic figures in the maelstrom of mediocrity that is the nu-Who line of figures...
If they ever get around to making toys of the first and second Doctors -- and I hope they do -- it would be fun if they sold two versions of each Doctor: one in full color, and the other in black-and-white.
i really hope they give these figures some joint articulation for the final products like the rest of the nuWho figures. Either way though, I'm excited for these. According to http://www.doctorwhotoys.net/ the 7th and 8th Doctors are up next for Wave 2.
I just read up on the 'Tenth Planet' Cybermen figures....to be done in a semi-transparent plastic? Niiiice!
I can't wait to see how they present McGann's Doctor. I wonder if his coat will be that raven-blue look, or the olive green look? Same with McCoy...I wonder if it's too much to ask that we get the browncoat version?
