Fascinating, so when Fox dropped out, it wasn't killed. They just went with Starz instead.
Very cool.
It's all the have the budget for with the international filming.
Starz is a premium cable channel so I'd assume it's be over 50 minutes per episode.
sounds intriguing, but you do wonder why it's Torchwood running around the world and not UNIT...
Interview with RTD and the head of Starz:

It's one 10 hour-long story, with new American cast members.
Let's all pray really hard that Summer Glau's new series dies a quick death!
I'm glad it's coming back, but now that Starz got the US rights I won't be able to watch it. Now I know how people without BBC America felt when it got Series 5 DW rights instead of Syfy.
Didn't they just change UNIT's name to Unified Intelligence Taskforce after they whined about it?
^I believe RTD said that after CoE his preference would be to do one big serialised story rather than going back to the old episodic format.
I hope this does not mean that Torchwood will film most its backgrounds in front of a green screenInteresting, I like the idea of making the series more global in story rather than just wales.
I am wary of Torchwood becoming less British in terms of production if its trying to become a more global show but after COE I want more Torchwood
I would assume to try and get new fans they would make standalone episodes mixed with arc episodes. Personally I would kick things off with a 2 parter then have 5 standalone episodes and then a 3 part trilogy episode to end the season/series.
Yeah, I was joking, Taking your idea that it might be 45 minutes per episode and making it a 45 minute series. It's all the have the budget for with the international filming.Man that's gonna be a really short story![]()
Starz is a premium cable channel so I'd assume it's be over 50 minutes per episode.
Not four and a half minutes per episode then? Sorry you put 4.5. Oh I'm so not as funny as I think I am...(don't all rush to agree with me please)
