New To Voyager

I guess it makes sense. Neelix was introduced once the crew got tossed into the DQ, seems fitting he would stay there but it's sad to think they never see him again, aside from the two-way communication.
Actually that seems impossible.

Without a network of subspace radio boosters to amplify and pass on the signal.

:)

Was Voyager dropping a communication Network behind as it made it's way through the Delta Quadrant?

Why? from TNG's "Where No One Has Gone Before", when the Enterprise is some 2.7m ly away from the Federation. They transmitted a subspace message which according to Data would take fifty one years ten months (Picard cut him off at that point). Doing the maths that would mean a subspace transmission would be ~519 231ly/year or ~1423ly/day which means Starfleet should have recieved a message from Voyager in around 50 days telling them where they were.

I love Endgame.

OH it's your first finishing of the series! I hope you don't get too upset when the ship explodes.

Silly Voyager, waits until the finale to finally get edgy.

From what I've heard, most people hate it so I'm going in with zero expectations.

Well when you kill off the dear people everyone spent 7 years with it hurts.

But I admire them for finally taking risks with their story.

The Galactic Center (or Galactic Centre)[1] is the rotational center of the Milky Way. It is located about 8.33±0.35 kpc (~27±1 kly) from Earth[2][3][4][5][6] in the direction of the constellations Sagittarius, Ophiuchus, and Scorpius where the Milky Way appears brightest. There is strong evidence consistent with the existence of a supermassive black hole at the Galactic Center of the Milky Way.
You have to go around the galactic core.

Voyager's path was likely going to take it through Romulan and Klingon space on the way to Earth.

Well, I'm finished. It was kind of meh. The first half was okay. The ending scene bugged me.

It should have been the crew exiting the ship once they reached Earth, the camera panning over each of their faces (all in disbelief that they made it back), and then stops at Janeway where she says "We're home." Roll credits.

Btw, what happened to Admiral Janeway and the Borg exactly?

I think they could have come up with a better ending. I don't know what exactly. Just something different. Either way it's been an interesting and exciting 4 months for me. I'm glad I watched Voyager. There were definitely some memorable characters. Never thought I would enjoy a sci-fi show but there's a first time for everything.

But I don't want to mate Kirk with Janeway.

Acceptable partners for Janeway (according to me):
Seven Of Nine
Tom Paris
Janeway's Girl:)

Plus TOS looks so cheesy I wouldn't be able to take it seriously. Don't get me wrong, I do like 60's shows (Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie).

It took me ten years to notice, but apparently she destroyed the Borg.

They're all safe.

No more Borg.

For the first ten years, it just seems like a hub was destroyed, and it was already made clear in the episode that the Borg had 5 more, so who gives a damn?

Guy in the books the Borg kill billions of people and assimilate everybody else.

Hey I remember they assimilate Betazed.. what happens if a telepathic or empathic race is assimilated by the Borg? Does the drone have any remnant of that? I suppose they have no reason to use it, and any thing they sensed is drowned out by the voice of the collective.
