News new Stargate series in the works (continuation of TV universe, no reboot)

I believe either Wright or Mallozzi said that old characters would appear. I just hope (and this is of course assuming the series happens) that they don't go the Picard route. I don't want to see Ry'ac get his eyes plucked out, or find out that McKay and Keller had a kid who died. Can we just assume that they're all happy?

Was never a fan of McKay and Keller together.
I would like to see McKay again though.
But can't see Carter coming back Amanda Tapping us very busy directing.
And they couldn't afford Jason to come back.
