new pics for S7 (spoilers about a foe's return)

Back to Dalek Storm for a moment, that thin strip of greeblies at the very front (instead of the expected sharp edge), that's a MechMaster trademark (not in the legal sense, of course). Many of his Dalek designs possess such a panel. You see that, you know MechMaster had a hand in its creation.

Sincerely,

Bill

The real question is: Will the daleks be able to mpress in this new appearance as opposed to how they have been recieved in their last few major appearances?

I think the key to that would be in not having them utterly defeated then some how reappearing in vast numbers.

I want to see a brand-new, old-school-style Dalek story. None of this armies from the heavens blowing everything up only to get blown up themselves by the Doctor in the end. That and a proper continuation from the cliffhanging escape the Daleks made good on in Victory of the Daleks.

The Sun has donated their replica 70s Dalek Surpreme to the production of "Extermination of the Daleks"

Except their story is wrong in as many ways as is possible:

They claim theirs is an original, seen in Day Of The Daleks (it isn't)
They claim it was used in filming (The BBC say the filming of classic Daleks was finished before the Sun offered theirs)
If they're claiming that's the title.. Who knows, could be, maybe third time's the charm. But I shall consume much salt.

There are only so many words left you can put before '...of the Daleks' :)

Naaah. There are plenty of potential titles left! Including such gems as...

"Applesauce of the Daleks"
"Underwear of the Daleks"
"Volleyball of the Daleks"
"Mother-in-Law of the Daleks"
"Dehumidifier of the Daleks"
"Palpitation of the Daleks"
"Lipstick of the Daleks"
"Amnions of the Daleks"
"Quesadilla of the Daleks"
"Eucharist of the Daleks"
"Fiduciary Obligation of the Daleks"
"Residential Mortgage-Backed Derivatives Market of the Daleks"

I'm interested by Mother in Law of the Daleks...hard to imagine a Dalek being nagged?

I did once joke that there should be "Contractually obligated appearance of the Daleks."

Writer Robert Sherman reports that during the writing of Series One's "Dalek," negotiations with the Nation Estate weren't going well and they revoked permission for the Daleks to appear. The entire episode had to be re-written with a non-Dalek alien (which was later used as the Toclafane in Series Three). Sherman entitled this draft of the episode "Absence of the Daleks."

I think they need to make Dalek episodes more relevant to now...

"Austerity of the Daleks" and it's follow-up, "Quantative Easing of the Daleks"

Are those the Doctor's "brainy specs"?

And wouldn't Daleks need a humidifier? Y'know, to keep them moist in there.

I've awlays thought they should continue the "Rs of the Daleks" trend from 80s (Ressurection, Revelation, Rememberance). Just think of it, we could have:

Reservations of the Daleks
Reflections of the Daleks
Reward of the Daleks
Riposte of the Daleks

And so on. You know, I am disappointed. Despite giving us two "of the Daleks" titles, NuWho hasn't given us an "R of the Daleks" yet.

The Doctor has stolen Daniel Jackson's glasses!
