New Picard Action Figures!

Is there anywhere which lists the figures which will be available in this lineup? From those pictures, there's Picard, Riker, Boimler and SNW Spock. Is that, or are there others?

I don't know.

It may be too early to tell.

It was pointed out elsewhere that if you look at the packaging, Picard is figure 1, Riker is 2, Spock is 5 and Boimler is 6. It likely means there are at least two (Mariner and Pike maybe) that weren't available for pictures.

I don’t think they look bad for prototypes. Gotta see what the final versions look like though.

The sculpt they used for Riker looks like they took 1987 Frakes, slapped a beard on him, and colored it salt n' pepper.

He's not svelte, but he's not the Michelin Man, either:

4 1/2-inch would be about vintage G.I. Joe size.
Vintage GI JOE was typically around 3.75" to 4" depending on the series. Though the actual original Joes were 12 inches, or 1/6 scale.

Stargate figures from the original film were about 4.25 inches, or less, standing taller than the average Star Wars and GI JOE but shorter than Playmates Trek figures.

The scale is approximately 1/18 for 3.75 to 4 inch, while 5 inch is roughly 1/16 though there is some play on there.

Seven inch is trendy now for collector pieces (I have a seven-inch Batgirl, Wonder Woman, and Lady Jaye).

7 inch was made popular by McFarlane and his line of Spawn figures and other various detailed figures back in the 2000s. You then saw a lot of other brands try it out, or 6 inch, like Toy Biz for Marvel and Lord of the Rings. Then Diamond Select and Art Asylum did some 7 inch detailed ones as well, plus some DC works by other brands.

6 to 7 inch seems to be a good medium sized collectible for the details and price.

For those that missed it in the action figures thread in “General Discussions”

based on the packaging pics it looks like they intend to make Picard, Riker, Data, Worf, Geordi, Beverly, Jack, Troi and Seven.

I'm looking forward to finally getting Rok-Tahk (I already have Gwyn and Dal).
