Why does this read like a paid sponsorship for the podcast in question?
A peak behind the scenes would stick up over them, so you'd not need anyone to give a peek at them.Even if it were, he's such a major voice for us with regard to getting a peak behind the scenes, all would be forgiven.![]()
No sponsorship here. I just really like Senensky's posts. And since he's one of only three original series directors still with us (along with Robert Butler and Marvin Chomsky), his insights are valuable. Why does this read like a paid sponsorship for the podcast in question?
I didn’t mean to suggest it was you. I tweaked the post to address this.No sponsorship here. I just really like Senensky's posts. And since he's one of only three original series directors still with us (along with Robert Butler and Marvin Chomsky), his insights are valuable.

Damn, I didn't realize there were only three still with us, though of course as soon as you point it out I realize, how could it be otherwise?
I was once at a funeral of a friendly business contact of mine, and one of the speakers mentioned how the deceased always loved to regale Star Trek fans he knew with behind-the-scenes stories of the original series episodes he had directed.
Which I had NEVER known about until this moment in the eulogy! Over the years we had had many conversations about other (more recent) jobs of his, but neither he nor I ever brought up Star Trek, and I didn't know the original series directors by name the way I would have the Berman-era roster. He was a lovely man, but sometimes speaking with him I was really reaching to find a topic of shared interest. This huge one was there the whole time, undiscovered until immediately after his death.
Who was he?
