Let me lay this out...
I met a nice guy at a pirate reenactment. He goes by the name of iPirate in several places. Enjoying his company a great deal, I'm pretty much shacking up with him (when not on my boat). I eat his food... I use his shower... and I use his computer.

I've seen so many things on other boards about tracking different user id's to the same IP and crying ALT or Dual, as you say. But no one EVER seems to consider the option that two different people can use the same hardware.
Oh yah, he lets me use his cell phone with it's web browser too.

As far as how Squiggy got nailed for this, I have no fucking clue. It's fucking bizzare. I never even heard of him until he said "hello" to me in this very thread.
Banning someone for having dual accounts is the stupidest thing I ever heard. If they start using two accounts to cause trouble, then sure. But just because someone likes to play act as two different people is hardly grounds for perma-banning them. I mean, god damn, at least talk to them first.
But whatever, I thought this was a cool Trek community. If you're so fucking hardass that ban people for that then it's obviously the wrong place for me.
