New, 14-disc Ron Jones TNG soundtrack box set!

Just a friendly reminder to those in the L.A. area -- tomorrow afternoon the signing at Dark Delicacies in Burbank will be taking place. See upthread for the time and other details.
 
I got mine today. The set is beautiful, and I'm already importing it in to iTunes. Someone was good enough to update the CDDB too, so it's importing practically effortlessly.

Also, Ron Jones could NOT have been nicer to me. Signed my booklet and chatted us up for a bit. Definitely a wonderful experience!
 
Sometimes I really hate that I live on the East Coast...

OTOH, I'm going to New York Comic Con in a couple of weeks, which should be fun.

Heh, no-win scenario.
 
One of the really cool things I noticed just now about the set is that the spines of the actual jewel cases actually match up, color-wise, with the TNG DVD box sets. So, season one is red, season two is orange, season three is yellow, season four is turquoise. It's a subtle thing, yes, but it's a nice reminder that great care and consideration was taken in to crafting this set together.

Good catch on that! Lukas Kendall really hit all the right marks with this set, I would not have even thought to match up with the colors on the DVD set.

I do believe mine's being delivered today. Yay!

Yesterday I ordered the BoBW soundtrack off Amazon. To rationalize this I also ordered the soundtracks for S1 and S6 of LOST, the last two I needed (that's how the savings worked out...yeah, it's weird...).
 
I ordered it at Screen Archives.com and they still don't have it in stock. :(

I think I'll have to wait for another couple of weeks at least.
 
Got mine from DD a couple of days ago...just in time to discover, before I could copy it all over to my iPod, that my network drive (it's old, to be fair) is developing some quirks. Yay!

-Now- I have it all copied over, at least. Looking forward to the wave of nostalgia!
 
Isn't it interesting that we're still using CDs for music? We've gone through how many video standards since the CD arrived?

I kinda wish that we could just download lossless audio files instead of buying CDs! But the physicality is nice I suppose.

These days I never even play CDs. Like just about everyone else I can think of, my CDs get ripped to digital audio files. I use both lossless FLAC files (for PC listening) and MP3 (for my old MP3 player).
 
Ordered my set from Screen Archives at the beginning of the month. Still listed as Pending. Hopefully it'll get sent soon. It'll probably take a while anyway as I live in the UK.

I really want this set. It's like a dream come true.

I'm in the UK and preordered but heard nothing about when it's being sent.. Gutted to have to wait so long - knowing it's out there already!!
