And here is a little recap and updating.
The Enterprise discovers a rogue world set adrift in interstellar space...and someone is still home...
The Enterprise is summoned to Starpost Tranguillity where Kirk must stand in judgment of a fellow starship Captain...
A wrecked and derelict Starfleet vessel missing for thirty years leads to a mythical world intent on keeping its secrets...

As much as I like the TMP era, Warped9, I'm really missing seeing your stuff on "Star Trek". Any chance you'll be doing some more original series stuff soon?

I must confess to being rather pleased how some of my refit Enterprise shots came out. Presented in similar fashion as some of the familiar angles seen in TOS and amid those more dynamic spacescapes really looks damned cool. And the last shot where the ship's phasers are more like the familar "screaming" blue of the TOS era really works for me . In some of these shots I can almost hear the familiar TOS music playing in my head and in that last shot I can easily hear the sound F/X of those classic TOS phasers firing.

^^ Well the original colour for the TMP deflector was yellowish I believe and then later in the film it was blue hued. The image I used in that sequence was a cgi rendered Enterprise (made for the TMP DE I believe) and they gave it that rose red hue for some reason and I didn't get around to correcting it.
I'll be going away for two weeks, but I'll try to monitor the thread remotely if at all possible, and so I regrettably won't be able to update any images until I return starting tomorrow.

I'm not sure which picture you guys are referring to since I'm checking in remotely from a dial-up connection (arrgh!), but in my shot of the bridge angled as the ship is under attack shocks Saavik(!) at navigation. My idea is of introducing Saavik earlier on in continuity.

It is obvious to me that Saavik is in Forgotten Merchants, but the over-the-shoulder-shot in Adrift Evermore is supposed to be Ilia, I guess. It just seems that Ilia's skin tone is darker in this shot...that's why I thought of Sisko.
By the way, I haven't commented on your Phase II yet. Like it a lot man, I had to go pull my Phase II book off the shelf just to see if you had scanned the picks or made screen caps from the Phase II DVD set.
