^^ Can you show me a drawing or something?

I did my homework and here you go W9 ;)
And I thank you for it. Man how I wish they had spent the money on this and actually built and used the set :(

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Just to clarify: The woman in the middle inage is Joan Marshall as Starfleet JAG Areel Shaw. The woman in the bottom image is Lisa Howard as starship Captain T.L. Marquette of the U.S.S. Excalibur. (yes, it's meant as a tip-of-the-hat) :)

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

^^ Another little tidbit is that I gave Kirk a trim--his hair seemed to be puffed a little high.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Assuming this is taking place in the late 70's, howzabout a crossover with that other big show at the time?

From the episode "Greetings From Earth"

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

^^ Damn, CRA, where are you getting those gorgeous E screencaps? I sure could use those.

On a slightly less silly note, if you've seen my thread in the TOS furom called "New ClassicTrek series coming!" you'll note that we're reporting on Star Trek:New Era as it's going to be released in for the 2004/05 season. We've already found out about some of the episodes, but we've also got some spoilers coming as well as the season's airing dates. Apparently ol' GR was a crafty son-of-gun and was into some really strange shit--like he planned to get himself and some key production people and actors cloned so that hopefully one day they could unite to launch a new ClassicTrek series. Well looks like ST: NE is it.

Oh, sinner! Warped9 is going to kill you! You screencaped the 1701-A (not a problem for me, but, well, you know!). You can still see the damage where the Klingon BoP struck the saucer in Trek VI.

Dang I didnt even notice it until you pointed it out. Well we know where the screen cap came from at least now. Yes I always thought this would be a great crossover. Ive seen some of the fan fic out there, but havent been too impressed. It seems they start on a story and then RL comes along and you are left hanging 1/3 of the way through the story.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

^^ I did a little double take for a second there because my initials are "R.L." and I was wondering how someone here knew.

Actually I have ssen completed stories of this kind. However I cannot say of those I've seen I was terribly impressed since they came across as very fannish. and I was never a fan of BSG myself anyway.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

/\ I've seen one really good BSG crossover fanfic, but it tied BSG in with B5 instead of Trek - it seems that Count Iblis was Lorien's brother, for example.

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Sometimes it's easier just to update the images rather than reposting them. :D

A wrecked and derelict Starfleet vessel missing for thirty years leads the Enterprise to a mythical world intent on keeping its sectrets...

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

And just what did the Enterprise crew do for recreation between adventures besides 3D chess?

McCoy: "Dammit, Jim, can't you stop flippin' channels and watch just one thing?"
Kirk: "We're not missing anything, Bones. It's a commercial break... Hmm, seems to be a lot of good stuff on tonight."

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Wow! I just noticed that this thread is going to hit 23,000 views. I never would have imagined that back when I started it.

Cool. :D

Re: Never seen TOS scenes...

Well it's a very interesting thread and the pics are both facinating (to borrow Spock's favorite word) and very well done.

What vessel did you use for that, it looks like one of Masao's ships from the Star Fleet Museum :)

I belive that he did credit it to Masao and SFM somewhere in one of the threads he was posting it in.
