Never before seen Star Trek photos

I bought it. Not because it had any great content. Rather, I bought it because it reminded me of my youth where you could only get info on star trek (or star wars, for that matter) through magazines like this. It's my own personal trades, taking me back in time.

Besides, if we show demand for TOS maybe they won't keep forcing jj's vision on us. (apologies to those who like the reboot)

True that. Reminds me of being so hyped to see trek VI when it hit the theaters. I remember picking up the 25th anniversary magazine. Silver cover. Read it like crazy. Then the cinefantastique issue on VI, the last hurray. Good times and good memories. After VI though the hype was never the same for me. TNG films were ok but they never had the sAme magic. The new reboots are ok though. '09 did feel magical though to an extent. ID I felt they tried too hard and fell on their face.

I didn't even ask for it, but my wife saw it in Target and bought it for me for Xmas. I haven't had much time yet, but I did browse it. I think I'll skip the text, because it seems to be a mishmash of Web rumors and exaggerations, etc.

It is, however, a nice collection of photos. I'd seen most of them before, but it's nice to have them in one hardcopy edition.

As noted at the top, the cover photo has hideous Photoshop modifications. Why did they feel the need to do that?
