News Netflix orders series ‘Another Life’ Starring Katee Sackhoff

Netflix has given a series order to the sci-fi drama “Another Life.”

The series will star Katee Sackhoff as astronaut Niko Breckenridge as she leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. As she and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission. Netflix has ordered a 10-episode first season.

Sounds interesting. I'm for anything to get Katee Sackhoff back into space.

Sounds very promising. Netflix probably has done well with Lost In Space and wants more of the same.

Odds of creepy crawly aliens are pretty high. That's cool, I could use a creepy crawly alien series right about now...ha ha. Or maybe those arrogant alien-overlord types with the big heads and bigger egos.

PS in my comment above, I didn't mean that I hoped this series would be like Lost in Space, which is a bit on the bland side for my tastes. Just that it's cool we're getting another space show on Netflix.

According to this article, sci-fi and fantasy are the most popular genre on Netflix, and it will now make up 29% of their original productions .
I'm a big Katee Sackoff fan, so just hearing her name is enough to get me excited about this.

Please don’t give her an accent. Her character on Flash is something I still can’t get used to.

It is great to see her on another sci if series though.

Wow, that's a pretty impressive cast they're putting together. I just hope Hoechlin and Camacho will still be able to make occasional appearances on Supergirl and the Flash. Luckily both characters are smaller recurring so it shouldn't be hard to work in occasional appearances.

Right now the sci fi series I’m excited about that airs currently is The Expanse. I want to be excited about this one as well. Katee deserves another hit series.
