Netflix orders Longmire Season 4!

Just read over at EW that NETFLIX has revived the cancelled A&E show Longmire by ordering a 10 episode Season 4 which will air in 2015. :techman:

This is great news as a fan of the show. I really enjoyed this program and I'm glad that they picked it up. Season 3 ended on a nasty cliff-hanger and the story blurb over at EW states that season 4 will pick up exactly where season 3 left off.

Awesome news. I thought for sure Netflix would end up passing on it, or at least have them reboot the storyline somewhat for newcomers. Glad to hear that won't be the case.

Yayy, for netflix reversing the dumbest cancellation ever!

Agreed 100% :bolian:

Now, perhaps we can get them to reverse the cancellation of Almost Human. Which, IMO, is the second stupidest cancellation in recent times.

YES! YES! YES!

[Borat] Verrryy excite! [/Borat]

Great show, one that never, ever should have been cancelled.

Thanks Netflix!

Well, that news is pretty amazing. This is another reason my wife continues to be a Netflix lover.

ATTENTION FANS!

Season 4 of Longmire is now available for viewing on Netflix

Let the binge watching commence!

(I'm already through episode 3, awesome stuff)

I have watched Season 4 now twice. I have no complaints and enjoyed it very much. Its acop procedural, but much more interesting than any other.

Katee!!!

She was the reason I started watching it to begin with but I found I like the way they portray Native life.

Love this show.
I was wondering why it suddenly became a Netflix original. Thanks for the info, folks.
Since I don't have cable tv, Netflix is my way to watch tv content. I saw a preview for Season 2 in a AMC movie theater, and was intrigued. Then when I saw it was on Netflix at that time, I had to give it a watch. (Largely because I love Katee Sackhoff). I was hooked from first epsiode. I am just past the middle of Season four, and loving it as much as I did from the start.

Simply a great show. Great cast, great stories.

She do wear her jeans well in that show. :D

And yes, I like how the Res life is shown in this show.
Lou Diamond Phillips has a great character, but I swear, his ability to avoid using contractions when he speaks makes Data look like a rank amateur. :D

Lol.

As a straight female I like the characters she plays... her tough take no prisoners attitude. I want her on my side if I'm ever in a desperate situation. ;)

I wondered about the no contractions thing. The Natives I've been around never talked like that. I guess its just a personal affectation.

I love Katee's character, Vic. She can be a hardass only when she needs to be....unlike her take on Starbuck in BSG, where she was a hardass almost 24/7...or whatever their time base was. :D (BTW, I loved her take on Starbuck.)
And yes, I would rather have Vic beside me in a firefight, or Starbuck on my wing in a furball anyday and twice on Sunday. :)

Sometimes, speaking as seemingly hesitantly as he does, I would gather that Henry Standing Bear was someone who, perhaps, learned English from his best friend, Walt Longmire, during their childhood. However, as would seem to be indicated in a very recent episode I watched, Henry's lack of using contractions is more a personal choice. I get the sense that he likes to make sure he is fully understood, and that perhaps he feels contractions...shortcuts...could undermine one's ability to be understood.

It's definitely different from when he played Chavez Y Chavez in Young Guns.

Just finished Season 4....WOW!
Now the long, agonizing wait for Season 5!

I'm starting to like the characters of Jacob Nighthorse and Mathias a bit more.
