Well, at least it's not Electronic Arts...
If there are fifa gamers in this forum who are interested in soccer games, I wonder what they think?
Well, at least it's not Electronic Arts...
Yea. Totally. At least with EA, you had the opportunity to own a physical copy that you can play as long as you want.
[GROAN] Stop simping for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This is not the time, or place for it, and overhyping a AA game is honestly just as bad as simping for corpo slop.Clair Obscure : Expedition 33 has certainly set the gaming industry into a panic...a game from a small studio (Sandfall Interactive) with a budget of $20M (?) is crushing it and earning rave reviews..when AAA titles that cost hundreds of millions are getting roasted...

Maybe if they get that WB merger goes through, because then they would have a gaming studio...
"simping"?[GROAN] Stop simping for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This is not the time, or place for it, and overhyping a AA game is honestly just as bad as simping for corpo slop.
It's not refreshing. We've seen this already back in 2023 with Baldur's Gate 3, a darker and edgier standalone sequel in the Baldur's Gate franchise. Singing the praises of a modestly budgeted game, and painting it as a "major win against AAA gaming" even though everyone and their grandmother knows that AA and independent gaming is carrying the industry, is not unlike a Madden Moron getting giddy at all the ways MUT Mode will fuck them in the ass."simping"?
simply pointing out the "David and Goliath" symbolism. It's refreshing
We've seen this before,
"The Terminator" was a low budget film that James Cameron directed while living on a friend's couch...who would have thought?
