We get to see him via telecommunication with Seven in Endgame too. Wonder if he knew what happened to Voyager in the end.

Well, they're not canon but in the novels they see Neelix often.

Dang, and they're all good episodes too!

Great fanon, certainly, but I'd say bad luck charm or the writers kept going to him as low hanging fruit for story ideas.

Shame he didn't stay on Voyager and end up back at Earth. Instead of the Indy 500 in Space episode and a couple other clunkers, get home early and have a proper denouement with all the characters, especially Neelix as he'd be better off in the Federation and is, indeed, a living witness and resource of information.

Why?

Because I want to see Neelix following the Voyager crew to the Alpha Quadrant (as he promised to do) and find a happy home there with the real love of his life:
