Neelix and Dexa moving too fast?

    We are the people who are 80 percent sure that Dexa is a salt vampire.

    Although, maybe it is love, since that shmuck is maybe 95 percent saccharine?

    I didn't have a problem with it-Neelix stepped in and was a father figure to that Talaxian boy(I forgot his name) and won the affections of Dexa I think because he made a stand and was willing to sacrifice on their behalf.

    Those displaced Talaxians had probably experienced nothing but hardship and expulsion. Here comes Neelix with an alien crew, he's experienced and capable in his own way and is willing to forgo what appears to be a comfortable and respected position on said alien ship for you-his own people.

    I can see how Dexa would have liked that.
