Went to see the new Star Trek movie. LOVED IT!!

On another board that I am on, someone started a thread about how the new movie is not better, or more epic than The Dark Knight. Bunch of brutish, ruffian bodybuilders... I HATE THEM!!! They piss me off to no end.

This is complete nonsense! But I am fighting a losing battle over there. I need some help, guys. Please?

How do you measure epicness anyway? Personally, I thought The Dark Knight felt more epic than Star Trek. But I loved Star Trek, for a whole lot of different reasons than I loved The Dark Knight. So, I guess it's just a matter of personal preference, really.

They are kidding right?
I still have not seen the he new trek, but I cannot imagine
someone thinking Dark Knight is more epic. The multiple
levels alone time line wise, history wise, the levels of
character complexity. Not just one character
but most of them. This stuff alone makes trek a more epic
movie. Better is a mater of personal taste. I think Trek
is better, but dark Knight worked at a more sinister
foundation. Does this help?
