I was hoping for a throw down between the big guy and Ziva, I wonder who would have won?
Good show but far from being one of the best. I guess since no preview for next week we'll have a repeat.

They should just dress petty officers in red shirts on this show and get it over with already. 
You know, the final seconds of the episode were disappointing. They telegraphed Ziva doing air guitar a mile away, but when Tony said he was No. 2, I was expecting him to discover Ziva was No. 1.

I may need to stop watching the show for a while - the formula is starting to annoy me. Not as much as Heroes is annoying me, but pretty close.
That Ziva ending was just way too much. I miss the days when lawyers were trying to screw each other and Australians and CIA agents tried to sleep with Catherine Bell. Bring Back JAG.

Sarah McKenzie might have bigger tits and that Ziva David and Abby Schiuto combined but JAG has run it course.
It was also predictable cos you knew which ever side Rabb was on would win in the court (was there a case he ever lost?).
Yeah I'm not a huge Gibbs fan either, I like the other team members more then him. DiNozzo and McGee are by far my 2 favorite characters.

It was fairly back and forth. What usually happened was that they would set up who was "right" in the first five minutes of the episode and it was almost a forgone conclusion.
Of course, the show was more overtly pro-military at the point.
I dunno, it's just that I could probably write a shitty SNL parody of the show now and that's never a good sign.
I'd have a generic nerd make SF references and speak like Geordi Laforge, a jock make movie references, a girl with an extremely thick "exotic" accent who confuses "there" "their" and "they're", a goth girl who jumps around, a British guy who talks to dead people and an older man with an unhealthy fascination with kids.
Hell, I'd probably do a tie-in and have that "To Catch a Predator" guy (Chris Hansen?) show up during the parody and drag my fake Gibbs away.
I'm sure you could do the same with any show after five years... like you could probably do a House parody where he just mocks people and somehow cures cancer in the process. It's just that I like NCIS and I kind of wish that they'd change it up before it becomes self-aware of its own archetypes and enters Stargate Atlantis territory.
Those characters had mostly ran its course, but I wouldn't had minded JAG continuing with Lt Vukovic, LCDR Roberts and the rest of the new cast they were bringing in. As for Mac's tits, (and believe me I can't believe I am saying this!) there is more to a woman than tits and I find Ziva to be a much hotter woman!

and Ziva is very hot Didn't take to Vukovic - came across as a bit of blow hard. As for Bud, well he was probably the character that grew the most from nerdy little geek to highly competent lawyer and family man.

I believe the idea was to show Rabb as a young lawyer all over again... Except that Vik came up with the ground forces instead of carriers... I liked the character.
I strongly agree.
I think he was my favorite character... with General Cresswell being #2 on that list
