Did I miss an episode? What happened to Gibbs following Agent Lee to her handlers? WAs that ever resolved?

No, you didn't miss an episode. You missed the very last seconds of the Lee episode where Gibbs just uses his super speed and super strength to knock everyone unconscious, which completely resolves every single plot point. Then he has some angst moments while working on his boat while a hot new pop artist's song plays.

;)

Above average. Interesting, but not their best.

Someone upthread mentioned that Pauley Perette has had 'problems'. What does that mean? I don't follow actors much off-screen... Can someone fill me in?

I really like her. Abby and Tony are probably my favorite characters on the show.

Appearently she had a major stalker problem. She used to have a blog & website till the creep got too close and she pulled it.

She also has multiple restraining orders against her ex-husband.

The formula will never get tiring, as far as I'm concerned, as long as DiNozzo, McGee, Abby, and Ducky stay on the show and continue to be awesome. Ziva and (gasp, blasphemy!) Gibbs don't do much for me.
Yeah I'm not a huge Gibbs fan either, I like the other team members more then him. DiNozzo and McGee are by far my 2 favorite characters.
I agree. It's just something I kind of keep quiet so as not to offend those who think that without Gibbs, the show would fall apart or something. :p

Gibbs makes the show for me. He's a very relatable character for yours truly. Don't if that's good or bad, though.

Maybe it is the writing or the direction but I've gotten to where I can identify at least one killer as soon as they are introduced.

NCIS too closely follows the tv formula of "you don't spend time on a guest star unless they turn out to have a major impact on the plot".

Knowing that, you can nail down the criminal(s) pretty quickly.

maybe the guest stars have something to do with it... but it's not always the case

this past week we saw Captain Lochley of Babylon 5 guest star on the show and she was innocent!

It was pretty obvious to me she was innocent.

She didn't appear until the middle of the episode.

But the neighborhood watch guy appeared early in the episode and was WAY TOO CHATTY to simply be an innocent bystander in the story.

My wife just glanced at the tv when that scene started and realized that he was going to be a killer in the end.

For anyone wondering what Lauren Holly's been up to since leaving NCIS, there are reports that she's going to be starring in... an Uwe Boll movie... with Luke Perry.

Good thing she's got a bit of career behind otherwise comparisons with Sasha Alexander would be coming thick and fast.

Hey now, if Sasha Alexander hadn't left NCIS, someone else would've gotten that 30-second role in Mission: Impossible III. :p
