NCIS franchise

so yesterday was the Randy episode of Origins. But it felt like it came out of nowhere, I got no impression from previous episodes that would imply something like this.

I think they should have seeded it in previous episodes

Well, we got to see Gibbs kill Hernandez. It's framed bit different from what we saw in the original series. Gibbs is wearing different clothes, and he shoots him from the side, not from behind.

But they shot the scenes with Hernandez at the same location as they did in the original.

And just an FYI, next week will be the fall finales for both shows, and both will also be Christmas episodes. After that, OG and Origins return January 27 and season 2 of Sydney will premiere January 31.

Still no sign of a UK release for Origins, but P+ have said they're getting Sydney Season 2.

A story about the NIS? Awesome. Who's playing Gibbs? And who's Mike Franks? I doubt, they will get the old actors.

Gibbs is Austin Stowell. Franks is Kyle Schmid of Being Human, Blood Ties, Six and Copper fame. Everyone is saying Franks is the highlight of the show.

Caleb Foote (Randy) promoted to main cast on Origins.
Honestly, I didn't understand why he wasn't main cast to begin with. He's been in and had a prominent role in every episode and is featured in the promotional cast photos.

I was going to say the same thing. He's the Tim McGee of NCIS:O, although Randy has been there since virtually the first moment.

Maybe they weren't planning on having him around for very long and he was supposed to get killed or transferred or turn in his badge sometime during the season. Meanwhile, the deep cut legacy character (Vera) is a regular but not in every episode.

Tony was in every episode of season 1 of 24 as a guest star.

I wonder if they’ll do an Origins crossover eventually. Like a case that gets started but not solved in origins gets solved in NCIS
