Yeah, just not quite ready to do the texturing yet. Planning on changing the setup on the desk a tad to make room for my tablet. I don't use it for modelling; but, would like to use it for texturing and simply don't want to keep hooking and unhooking it with the arrangement I have in here at the moment.

Fair enough. I use mine as a mouse pad whenever I'm not using it as a tablet. That way I don't have to hook it up and unhook it that much either.

I could probably use it as a mousepad, the big problems are desktop space and outlets. I have three machines running up front right now and nowhere left to plugin. That said, I'm going to be changing that soon - moving one of them to the back with my secondary network.

Got back to building things today. That's the latest batch.

And more..

Ah yes, the flowerpot device. Gets around quite a bit that one, even moving around in the same scene!

Yeah, I was watching, I think, Day of the Dove this past week (went through most of season 3 getting caps) and one of these was knocked over in a fight. The corridor clears, and a very short time later, Chekov comes down the same corridor where it was just knocked over, showing it's just dressup, and it's standing up again as if by magic. I was crackin up.

^^^ Wasn't it being held up by a trapezoidal-shaped piece of plywood at some point? Seems they had no end of problems with that thing but someone still insisted that it be used as a piece of set dressing. Always found that highly entertaining.

I had a similar reaction the first time I saw that scene! However, the bizzare nature of this piece of equipment also shows up in Is There In Truth No Beauty? When they first go down the corridor to Kollos' quarters, the flowerpot is nowhere to be seen:

When Marvick runs out of the cabin after opening the box, it is suddenly there, by the red line:

But when Kirk and party show up, the flowerpot has moved, so that the clod-footed guards don't knock it over:

My theory? It's some sort of portable wall structure strengthening device. That would explain why we've seen it all over the ship, as well as being distinctly portable!

Or it could be related to it's "about the same height" looking round object and be some kind of control device or shunt. It'd be like those magical magnetic blocks that affect stuff behind the walls that Scotty attaches to the interior of the jefferies tubes/crawlways that he crawls in. :) Every minute or so, some random engineering guy has to move it to another power junction behind the wall for some maintenance test :D

And here's another small batch of assets:

And I wonder if magnets of the future will remain eternally on a fridge? rofl

Just an FYI, there is a new vid posted to my youtube channel. Nothing new, just a 3d look at the newest assets.

Returning briefly to the subject of mobile corridor equipment, anyone ever notice this one?

It appeared in the third season and turned up here and there (getting in the way - I much prefer the wall mounted machinery). Then we see that Flint has one in his house!

Any suggestions as to what it might be?
