The Hoff was in the first episode of the Knight Rider reboot from a few years ago. Made it more of a continuation than a reboot.

That was weird because while Michael Knight being the new guy's Dad made it a direct continuation it was basically a remake of the basic concept. After the Hoff's appearance in the Pilot they really did play up it being a sequel at all. They brought back KARR voiced by the same actor but no mention or consistency with his appearances on the original show.

^Actually, it wouldn't be a rip off of either show, as only three people on the show have powers-if anything, it could be considered a variation on The Tomorrow People.

I liked the original series. I'd like to know why the pilot was so bad that they decided not to go ahead with the project.

It's bad when NBC doesn't want your show. But I'm shocked about it feeling dated. I mean really shocked, who would have thought!

I was actually kind of looking forward to this. I didn't have any delusions that it would be a great show, but I was curious to see the character back in action. Just because I always thought the original show was pretty good.
