NBC is reviving Heroes

I watched every season when it was on, but I never figured out why. Kring should have realized the characters needed to develop beyond the first season. He could have learned a thing or two from actually reading the comic books he wanted to base a show on.

If NBC wants to cash in on the supers fad, they should just contract a new show and do it right.

I have an idea for the show.

Seasons 2-4 never happened. Instead of them saving NYC in the season 1 finale the city blows up. We pick up the reboot of the show several years later as the USA and the world has become a huge mess and our new freaks are out trying to build a new world.

With a nod in the direction of the poster who uses this as their signature:

i saw it on a Facebook feed -- DEFINITELY a good thing..even with all the dips on the show, jack Coleman did a great job with the character, and a natural non-powered leader for the new group.

We'll see how the other characters pan out, and any return appearances or mentions.

I'm watching 24 Season 3 right now and Zachary Quinto's character on that show is much more interesting and better developed than what Sylar turned into near the end of the series :D

I wonder if they'll get Zachary Quinto for the Heroes revival. Hahaha. Doubt it. :D

Which is good. That character really needed to be retired.

Awesome news on HRG returning. Now only Claire, Peter, and Sylar (iffy about him) are left on my wishlist. Hopefully we get at least one of those. :)

I haven't rewatched the end of S4. Was it Claire and Noah that were buried alive? If so, that would suggest Claire should at least have a cameo if they don't just skip right past the Cliff Hanger.

Buried alive? Don't recall that.

The cliffhanger of Season 4 involved Claire climbing to the top of a Ferris Wheel and jumping off on National TV, exposing herself to the world.

Hmmmm...I remember somebody (thought it was Claire and Noah) being buried in a bus on the site of the Fairgrounds?

I think they got buried alive and another character (Mohinder or Not-Nikki) randomly showed up to save them, then wouldn't go with them on their mission to save the world.

Claire's on Nashville, Hiro's on Hawaii Five-0, Sylar does movies (and good TV shows) now and would cost too much. Maybe they could get Milo Ventimiglia (Peter) back.

I'm still not sure what my feelings about this are, but at least they picked one of my favorite characters for the first return announcement.

I loved the HRG announcement too, but my overall feeling on this is to be wary.

I think this old saying (possibly from Tennessee) sums it up well...

"Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." ;)
