NBC is reviving Heroes

I liked Kristen Bell's character, she was delightfully crazy. Of course, her character couldn't help the dreadful scripts, but I thought she still did a good job with what she had.

Impotent stalker girl sitting in her car with her face pressed against a window for episodes at a time, trying not to be found out by the A-Team?

Someone had to play that character, I suppose?

On House of Lies these days she could be mistook for Doctor Doom.

That's good...but i hope we see some more diversity, like the first show.

i'm still hopeful. No online comics yet?

The lack of new info is a tad bit scary, though Levi and especially Coleman being a part of it are good signs...

I think that one of the reasons why there's late development for Heroes is because it was slotted for the end of the season/ into the Summer time. Also Tim Kring is doing a show for USA called Dig which was filming in Israel. Production on Dig was halted for awhile during the bombings in Israel and they had to move to another country to finish it.

The addition of Zachary Levi has me curious, although if he was going to be involved in an NBC series revival, I would have rather seen it be Chuck.

SYLAR BETTER NOT BE IN IT!

I'll give it a watch as long as Zachary Quinto is not involved. I like Quinto, but Sylar should have been killed off for real in the season 1 finale! :p

They can't afford him.

As a favour, he may work for scale for a guest spot, but other than that, meh?

Really? Not being a dick, but out of possibly the whole cast of the Star Trek Reboot, I think Quinto has done the least outside of it. I can't think of one other film he's been in.

That doesn't mean I necessarily want him back, I agree he should have been offed at the end of Season 1, but at the same time when they kept him around and FINALLY ditched all that "woe is me/maybe im a good guy" bullshit and had him come back as a full on comic book mustache twirling villain, I really liked that turn. Sure, it was a turn towards camp, but at that point in the show it was a nice change from the angst-ridden crap that stunk up the previous couple of seasons.

He's been doing TV (American Horror Story, something called The Slap), so that makes me he think that he would still do TV.

High concept boutique shit. In and out.

Heroes on the other hand is NBC trying to milk a cash cow they just defibrillated after a 5 year dirt nap.

I made the mistake of watching season one when it originally aired.

This show deserved to be cancelled. But it had such promise, which is a shame. This is acase where rhe original was bad a remake is needed. This time planned out, written by people who actually know how to write, and not scored like a wet noodle.

I really liked the first season with the exception of the final episode. It serves as a nice origin story. The problem was that the writers, not appearing to really understand the genre, didn't know what to do afterward. The second season should have been about the team coming together and Hiro taking his place as a leader within that team. Instead Hiro was neutered because he was too powerful and we got a repeat of season I.

Heroes did pave the way for public acceptance of the comic book boom in television and cinema; and the time may be right for it to come back if written properly.

I kept hoping at least one character would don a costume and go the superhero route. I mean with a world of people who were slowly gaining super powers you'd think at least one of them would have been a comic reader like us and try it out.

Micah had comic books. His cousin thought that these comics which had not been bagged or boarded, and stored in a rucksack for years might be valuable, so took them to a crack house to be "valued" by drug dealers, who smacked the cousin around and took the comics.

Too dumb to be allowed to live.

I doubt he'd be that expensive, but I do question if he'd have time. I just read an interview the other day, and he's got a whole list of other things he's doing, so I doubt he'd have time for much of an appearance.
