All the more reason to cast Andrews, or someone else.Though, Javier Bardem would be more Montalban-esque.
I think having Garth or maybe a re-imagined Kor as the villains of the next Trek film would be nice.
Banderas is totally wrong. I don't think he's a particularly great actor, and he doesn't have that menacing quality about him, and I thought he was always miscast when he was playing dangerous macho man in Hollywood. He never played those kind of roles in Spain - his career in Spain consisted of playing weird nerdy young guys, totally insane but sort of good-natured young guys, confused and neurotic weird young guys, etc. And he was much better in those roles. It's only when he came to Hollywood, he started playing Macho Latinos, because that's the stereoype Hollywood has about Spanish men. Bardem, OTOH, is good at playing macho guys, villains and dangerous men, but he can also played very different roles, because he is a better actor.I didn't see this thread when I started my khan thread but my choice for Khan would be Antonio Banderas. I think he has the right look and intensity to be khan.
He needs to pull off the right balance of camp and menace:I'd prefer Khan being left out of the new movies, but if they do bring him in, Andrews would indeed be perfect.
