2. Super big. The small Enterprise model was used near its mouth, the entire length was not in frame to estimate its size.
3. Matt Decker dies in it. Others might only see a lightweight windsock blowing in the breeze.
4. Neutronium hull and pure anti-proton beam weapon that blasts planets and recycles the debris for power to continue forever!
5. It's a big space death ray.
6. The episode is named after it, so, it should be important to the plot when it shows up.

It was described as a city, not a tiny village, and so shouuld have been large enough for a city sized population.

Obviously a community for human sized people which held a city sized population would be larger than a shuttlecraft.

Stratos was was a literally massive structure. And it also had a figuratively massive impact on the people who lived there, the people who wanted to live there, and the people who considered themselves oppressed by the people who lived there. People who saw Stratos floating in the clouds might assume it was very light, despite its great size.

The Cloud City of Stratos had the highest elevation of any site in the episode, except for a few scenes on the Enterprise orbiting far above the planet. And some viewers found the floating city to be be best part of the episode.

Ardana did have a stratified society. And that was also a pun on the name of Stratos.
