Name That STAR TREK Episode...

I, Mudd. The androids seem to be a bit xenophobic. They wear the necklaces with their numbers. And they "live to serve," in their own way.

I compose. I hit "post reply". Two newly posted replies pop up in front of my reply. One guess is the same as mine. It happens. Since I really didn't get a new chance at a guess, here's my alternate guess (if someone objects, I'll never do it again):

I bid three hundred quatloos on "The Gamesters of Triskelion".
1. Providers are hiding in an underground complex. They take only beings for their games from lesser races.
2. Obedience Collars.
3. Maybe something to do with freeing the Thralls. Got nothing here.

You got it!

However:

1) is about the instructors.

Kirk gets the beautiful and charming Shahna. Chekov gets the ugly authoritarian whatever. It could be interpreted as the "Chief gets the pretty one" but also as the "Russian guy gets the uggo", which is kinda xenophobic...

2) that's it.

3) They were beamed before their transporter got a chance to energize. So don't use your beamer, we'll use ours, except not to where you wanted to go.

Your turn.

No Truth in Beauty. Not it, try again.

nope, i lurked into your game and have now to re-binge tos because i learned that i'm a total nOOb :D i'm lucky i got a show that fits the hint at all

Vagary and deception are part of the game, especially on the first couple of clues. Most of the replies in this game are WAGs. Sometimes it's just a pure numbers game.

i read the whole thread - i know exactly how it works. i'd like to be part of it but my knowledge is way too bad for that. so far there was no 2nd clue that didn't see me out in the woods. i will watch & learn :D

edit: i would have been delighted, though if my wag had proven correct

Brain. Brain. What is Brain? Not Brain. Please try again.

No Glory for you. Please try again. (I better start thinking up clue three.)
