Name That STAR TREK Episode...

Clue 2: A routine piece of equipment shows surprising - and ultimately unneeded - accuracy.
Elaan of Troyius?
1. No one around in Main Engineering to stop the saboteur. (No wonder we don't have a head of security, Kirk keeps firing them due to the lapses in security on the ship.)
2. Impulse power at 93 and 31 percent.

All true but no. And wait, didn't they need the impulse engines?

Again, I thought I had you. :wah::censored::wah: I was stretching on the equipment clue since I got tunnel vision on the first clue. I'm stumped. :brickwall:

Don't forget about Disco.

Going offline for a while so that will give an opportunity for some other regulars to jump in on the two clues so far if they wish.

Clue 1: Conveniently, no one's on duty.
Clue 2: A routine piece of equipment shows surprising - and ultimately unneeded - accuracy.

Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
1. No one is on duty in the transporter room when Loki and Bael beam down.
2. Spock's scanner allows Spock to give an extremely detailed play-by-play of the pairs' movement through the ship (Obviously, an upgrade has happened since Court Martial  )

Mark of Gideon.

No one is on the fake Enterprise and the transporter is accurate and, ...... I'm really reaching.

No, but (and that wasn't a reach BTW! It makes sense) . . . .

Exactly! Good job, BK 613! Yeah, I love the play-by-play of Bele and Lokai running through the ship. I actually like the ep for the most part, but Spock's narration was just silly. It was nice that the sensors functioned well enough to tell the two apart, though. The sensors seemed to gain precision in S3 - - see also Day of the Dove and The Cloud Minders. Oh, Enterprise Incident as well.

Your turn!

First clue: A star becomes a sun.

First clue: A star becomes a sun.
I'm going way out there on this one. The Conscience of the King?
I'm thinking "star" could refer to actor Anton Karidian.
In the confrontation with Lenore she says the following line which could refer to "sun":
LENORE: He's awed by your greatness, your shining brightness.

Thanks P2

First clue: A star becomes a sun.

Operation: Annihilate? The Denevan pilot and (more oddly) the Enterprise crew talk about the former flying into the sun in the opener, which might have made sense from the pilot's perspective but not from that of the E's crew.

Nor is it Opp: Ann

(And I was out of pocket for a bit so some belated hopes and well-wishes for T-Bonz's hubby recovery.)

I pick Bread and Circuses

The star becomes a Son because the Sun is a star and the not the Sun but the Son.

Zathras, help me!

Dizzyingly no.

First clue: A star becomes a sun.
Second clue: Someone really benefits from another's awkward moment.

"TOMORROW IS YESTERDAY"?

A black star got them there, and they used the sun to get back.
The sergeant that was awkwardly motionless, which McCoy was able to take his gun and the communicator.

The Squire Of Gothos?
The Enterprise is travelling through a "star desert" but the planet looks well lit so Trelane must have used one to make a sun.
The crew benefit when Trelane's parents show up, which would have been awkward for him.

Not SoG
