Name That STAR TREK Episode...

I am thinking of an episode that uses stock footage of the back of 'Sulu', but it is not him.

Don't know which episode, though.

By Any Other Name

Yup!! Good one! I always enjoyed all the ways they covered for George Takei not being there (particularly during his movie shoot in S2) by having other people at the helm. Often it would be Billy Blackburn, who lent a terrific presence to the bridge set and very convincingly and believably worked the buttons. But sometimes they got creative, as with Kyle (a/k/a Mr. Kowell) in The Immunity Syndrome. But then there's By Any Other Name, where the just ridiculously beautiful Drea . . .

. . . takes over and pilots the ship.

(Oddly, I don't think Chekov ever took the helm. Heck, Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and Janice Rand all did that!)

There are only five refers to the number of Kelvans. The dialogue isn't as explicit as it is concerning the same number (and gender breakdown) of invaders in "Wink of an Eye" ("I count only five of them"), but there are some discussions about the small number of Kelvans.

Only four left refers to the number of Enterprise crew members left after the polyhedron reductions. ("I need you and these other specialists . . . "). I always loved that they kept Scotty.

My next clue was going to be about the unavenged, outrageous murder of poor Yeoman Thompson.

BK613 is up!

Hmm I actually choose this episode as my guess because: "Only five" Enterprise members beamed down but only "four left" the planet after the Yeoman is killed.

First clue: Sometimes, right is left and left is right.
