OK, none of those. Perhaps I've gone overboard on the vagueness of the clues.
Clue 4: Kirk does it again.
No not correct.SO I take it that it's a TOS episode then...I wasn't even sure of that.

OK Clues 1 and 2 refer to minor passing references in the episode in an oblique manner and perhaps should be ignored for the moment.
Clues 3 and 4 refer to important incidents in this episode.

There was an Alvin on the Colony and Theodore was Dr Wallace's husband - 2 of the 3 chipmunks (You know Furry Creatures) And if that wasn't obvious enough
- there was a mention of the Romulans using the colonists as guinea pigs
Clue 1: Gift not accepted - Dr Wallace she says she wants to ah get together with Kirk despite his afflictions. Kirk refuses this goodbye present
