He died along with Captain Dunsel and your misidentified answer. Those Captains are not superior officers to all our heroes.

Clue 2: Bad time to be a red shirt with Kirk around. Guess which one dies?

Well, we know it's not Kirk unless that red shirt is Picard.:rommie:

Apologies for the delay. Here we go...

    Clue # 1
There's at least two 'furniture' alterations/displacements that I can see, in this episode.

    Space Seed?

    1. Scenes in Engineering show the control console and transformers, but during the big fight scene, these both disappear.

There's no discovery of the Botany Bay today alas.

    Clue # 2
More specifically, one piece is re-arranged, and the other disappears.

Staying in Engineering, in Day Of The Dove, when the hero fight starts between Kirk and Kang, the dilithium crystal floor housing moves toward the side ladder of the room and the big floor transformer simply disappears. "Give me some fighting room!"

Nice going, but we're not fighting for an entity's pleasure today.

This next clue should allow the answer to come crashing down...

    Clue # 3
Did I just hear one of our heroes recollect a past event? Or maybe two? Surely not?! TOS prides itself on standalone instalments!

Where No Man Has Gone Before?
No idea about the first two clues, but going on clue 3, Gary Mitchell recollects his and Kirk's time at Starfleet Academy where he brings up two memories: one, that Kirk was a walking stack of books; and two, the blond technician. Mitchell laters brings up the event of the rodents and their poison darts.

@Henoch I'm pretty sure Clue 3 is referring to an episode which referenced previous episodes.

BK613 is correct! I've often been the lead player in these games, so I thought I'd give an easier clue to round off the game and give someone else a chance.

    Nice guess though Henoch!

@Methuselah Flint I'm pretty sure I know the episode but will probably be too busy this weekend to run a session. Assuming it's the episode I have in mind, I suppose an in-universe explanation for clues 1 and 2 could be they are going from room to room since they have no cleaning minions...just kidding but yep never noticed before.

How about you give us the episode, and then offer the new game up to Henoch?

Clues 1 and 2 involved the rearranged layout of the Rec/Dining Room including the arrival of the monitor Rojan uses to contact the bridge.

Clue 3: Events from "Where No Man..." and "A Taste of Armageddon" are referred to in this episode
    -----------------------
Won't be able to run a session so (assuming I right) I pass the game to whoever jumps on it first...

You are correct on the episode! Although I was referring to the handrail being moved behind Chekhov when he gets zapped, and the empty sickbay before the trolley gets wheeled in. (In reality, they should have had a moveable trolley, sent to and from the transporter room, after which Spock would be lifted onto the fixed bed in sickbay, as per hospitals do.) The permanent bed is removed.

Correct on the two past episodes referred to!

    Nice one sir! :)

Hmm since no one jumped in.
Clue 1. No red shirts were fatally harmed during the events of this episode.

Clue 2: A BTS* fact means this episode could not have been one of the first episodes.

    *(Behind the Scenes)

edit to add the bolded part
