Exactly! Good job, my beglobed amigo!

1. Exactly.
2. Right!
3. You got it!
4. Correct. He and his men will not leave.
5. That's true - although Ed Appel wears purple - but in addition, his collar device appears to connote rank, in a very early version of what TNG/DS9/VOY would later do (particularly DS9 with the Bajoran Militia's insignia). It's hard to tell exactly, but Vanderberg and Appel seem to have larger insignia than the others, and the insignia do not appear to serve any function other than a decorative one.
6. He's pretty gruff and dismissive of both Kirk and Spock. It's amusing.
7. "Mister Vanderberg and his men are here, and they're pretty ugly." :guffaw:
8. Right on.
9. Yes!

Great job! You have the conn!

The clues must apply to everyone or they mean nothing! Do you understand?
(Also, not Zarabeth, either.)

Clue 3: My eyes sparkle (or is it just photography with a bright light).

Lenore Karidian.
All this and power too. You are correct, Caesar of the stars.

Clue 1: I'm a hunter.
She is hunting down and killing the last surviving eye-witnesses who can identify Kodos the Executioner.
Clue 2: I do wear furs.
She wears the fur miniskirt (shown above) when meeting Kirk on the bridge in order to get on the ship.
Clue 3: My eyes sparkle (or is it just photography with a bright light).
Most of her alluring scenes have a bright light reflecting off her eyes as shown in the above photo. :adore:

I think she wore furs on the nice little walk outside the Leightons' place as well. An underrated episode, and she sure was nuts. Quite the two-object game (one weapon, one globe) we have going here.

And now . . . .

No, no, thank you. I can manage.

2. Well, it's not really so much withholding key information as failing to qualify key information.

Miranda?

1) She conceals her blindness.

2) Two things....Her blindness actually doesn't hinder doing anything. Also, she wants to pilot the ship. McCoy says she can't, so she can't qualify her desire. Nevertheless, the flip side is, would it be so hard for her to flick a few switches on the bridge?

3) Perhaps pants and a more practical outfit as opposed to a dress, would be wiser. Especially if she was working in a lab planet-side, and is now aboard ship. Her sensor web, perhaps is a little vulnerable to damage the way it is worn?

Thalassa?
1. She doesn't tell Sargon of Henoch's plotting, and that she doesn't want a robot body.
2. same.
3. She is building a robot body, but she never got to use it.
