^ Well now I've realized what the sprites remind me of (Dune 2), but the interface doesn't match at all, so that's not it. Plus, Dune's units weren't that colourful, either...

It is a real-time strategy game -- one of the very first, in fact. It also had really bitchin' split-screen multiplayer.

I don't think so; the HUD certainly doesn't match any Rainbow Six Vegas layout I've ever played. Actually, the HUD is almost completely alien to me.
