The Drumhead is correct. The clue refers to the Battlestar Galactica episode Litmus which is basically Drumhead.

I need to make my clues more obscure.

It's not that your clues are not obscure enough. I just happen to be a fan of dozens of scifi series. BSG (both of them), SLIDERS, BABYLON 5, SEAQUEST, THE X-FILES, all STARGATE shows, DOCTOR WHO, FARSCAPE, FIRST WAVE, THE TWILIGHT ZONE, THE OUTER LIMITS, QUANTUM LEAP... the list goes on.

I like the Tamarian style of clue giving. In that spirit, I will do my next clue in that style.
