Name That Episode, TNG Edition...

Symbiosis?

I’m not good with B5 episode names, but it’s either addiction, has to do with false accusations, or telepathic manipulation. (The two major reasons he relapsed in the show.)

I don't mind the Tamarian style clues as long as they use elements of the ST franchise.

Tamarian + outside clues is a little too much.

Or should I say:

Tuvok and Neelix plus bad mindmeld, in the holodeck.

I don't mind out of Trek clues as long as clue 2 is more accessible. The ones I'm not a fan of are the ones that are so obfuscated they could apply to ten different episodes then you have to guess which one the clue giver was thinking of.

Extinct species could refer to Last Outpost, Contagion, The Bonding, Booby Trap. Unless there's an episode where Garibaldi falls off a literal wagon I'm not sure how any of those deal with succumbing to alcoholism. But Contagion seems the most B5ish? So I'll guess that.

As I said, if you figure out the name of that B5 episode, you have the TNG episode answer.

Ding ding. It is "The Survivors".

B5 episode was called "SURVIVORS". Remember, I said just the title was needed.

And the Husnock were extinct by the beginning of the episode, since Kevin killed their entire species by that time.

Your turn.

I say "New Ground", since the gilvos were something Alexander liked, and that was the first appearance of that actor in the role.

Nope, but good logic.

I also will say, the first clue is an in-Trek clue. So no knowledge of behind the scenes trivia is needed, all you need is to remember the scene.

Clue 3: A character from the episode shares a name with a villain from Westworld,

Clue 1a: The key to this clue is figuring out what I mean by ‘Kingdom’.

Clue 4: In the 90s, this episode more than any other made it difficult to tape the series off the TV in original airing order.

No guesses yet?

I'm surprised, I thought once I narrowed it down to major recurring characters first appearance someone would get it right away. Clues I thought were more obscure went a lot faster. I guess it's not that memorable an episode.

Clue 5: The second and last mention in the series of an idea that three things are actually one and the same.
