Name That Episode, DS9 Edition...

I have extremely busy lately. Apologies for the delay in clue making.

Clue recap...

1. Couched, to begin with.
2. Open it up.

Next two clues...
3. We never hear the end of it.
4. Strangely accurate.

Well done, JP. You got it. Here are the explanations...

1. Couched, to begin with... Sisko tells Kira the interpretation was couched in metaphors to begin with.

2. Open it up... The comet fragments leaked just enough so that a filament left the wormhole open for signals to be transmitted on both sides.

3. We never hear the end of it... The episode ends with the Vedek starting to tell Sisko about another prophecy, but we never heard the whole thing.

4. Strangely accurate... The prophecy came true very much as stated.

5. The beginning might have led to the end... The incomplete prophecy Yarka says has the Emissary go through a fiery trial, which could be a hint of his fate in the series finale.

6. Mixed up... The two Rules of Acquisition are mixed up by Dax.

Thank you for making sure my brain didn't fry trying to come up with 20 more clues. :)

Your turn.

1. Couched, to begin with... Sisko tells Kira the interpretation was couched in metaphors to begin with.

Ha ha. I had been trying to remember the show that might have featured a scene in Odo´s quarters where he talks about being furniture or a show when Quark (or Nog?) says something about Odo being a couch.

Shoot, nearly forgot!

Clue #2 - It costs the same no matter what you do with it.
Clue #1 - Messy breakfast.

"MERIDIAN"?

Quark's program of Kira will cost a lot, and I think this is the episode he tells Kira that when tried to eat, it was a messy experience since he doesn't have a digestive system.

No to both sorry. (but I like that Meridian guess, it totally fits!)

Clue #3 - Smart indeed, we just didn't know it yet.
Clue #2 - It costs the same no matter what you do with it.
Clue #1 - Messy breakfast.

"THE STORYTELLER"?

Odo's bucket was filled with oatmeal as a prank, the negotiations with the two Bajoran tribes, and we learn the apprentice has the knowledge to hold back the Dal'rok.
