The Search is correct! I was considering two parts as one episode.

What looks right to us is Odo’s approximation of a bird, which he remarks in a later episode wouldn’t fool the birds.

Thanks! I always keep two-parters separate, except for the pilot, finale, and "THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR", since each was produced as one and both parts were directed by the same person.
